About Us

WOK STORE founded in 2007 is located in Viale Col di Lana 5/A straight in the heart of the famous Navigli area, in Milan. The young owners Federica Zambon and Simona Citarella created a concept store, with the aim of presenting new ideas of artists and designers. The store often fosters exhibitions both of art and fashion and proposes to its customers a variegated styles. Wok cooperates with art galleries, such as Jaguar Shoes in London, and for this reason here you can find unique items produced by contemporary artists: each piece is carefully chosen by the two buyers for his originality and in this way the store becomes a 360° ideas' laboratory. Wok's style is eclectic, a mix of avant-garde designers from all around the world, as for example Arielle De Pinto, a Canadian designer or the German conceptual twosome Anntian. During the last few seasons Wok has aroused interest among the public and has received different proposal for partnership. Wok store also started to introduce more famous brands like Maison Martin, Margela, Christophe Lemaire e Comme des Garçons. Wok teases and excites costumers with constantly updating social networks' and blogs', with fresh and cool news. In 2008, Wok approached e-commerce's world though a partnership with the popular site Farfetch.com, a community that brings together the world's most booming shops. The continuous research, the online shop, and the numerous events have led Wok to become an important landmark in both Milan and international scene.


WOKroom

With the aim to promote in Italy, international budding designer through events organized inside their concept store, Federica Zambon and Simona Citarella, created the temporay showroom called WOKroom.

The first important appointment has been in 2008 with the Danish stylist Henrik Vibskov, followed by other unique events dedicated to the Canadian Arielle De Pinto, to the Bulgarian Vladimir Karaalev and to the tricot artist Babyscotch.


On 2011 the two buyers guested in WOKroom, new in the Italian market, the menswear designer Julian Zigerli with his original collection of prints over technical textiles. Last event Japanproxy, displayed in March, was a platform for young fashion designers from Japan and received many positive feedback from the press for the quality and for the variety of ideas together with a deep research over materials.
